Chef Nilda was born and raised in NYC. Her culinary career began as a pastry cook at Butter Restaurant in Midtown Manhattan. However, she honed her skills working for corporate food management companies such as Compass Group North America at HBO, Sodexo at Nourish Inc and Union Square Hospitality Group at Union Square Events.
She also worked in private school educational dining with Cater To You Inc. at LREI (Little Red School House & Elisabeth Irwin High School), Poly Prep Lower School, and SAGE Dining Services at the Berkeley Carroll School.
She has a passion for cooking and her main ingredient is LOVE. She offers a diverse menu of dishes inspired by global cuisines.
Chef Nilda holds NYC Food Handlers, Servsafe Certification, Allergen Certification and PCQI Certification. She enjoys working with clients to come up with new customized recipes. She can't be your fairy god mother but she can be your fairy good cook!

The price varies depending on each clients frequency of meals, number of entrees and portions served. Clients are responsible for the cost of their groceries and the rate of the Chef.
The standard base package includes the weekly day rate of the Chef and the cost of groceries. Chef will work with each client to create a customized menu, do the grocery shopping, cook three entrees that yield four servings each. That's a total of twelve individual entrees. Clean up after cooking.
There are three entrees in the base standard weekly rate. The client decides what they are. For example three entrees can be chicken, beef, tofu plus accompaniments of a vegetable and grain OR starch prepared to clients liking.
Services are offered in clients home currently in New York City in the boros of Queens, Manhattan, Brooklyn. Clients can choose whether or not they want to be home during meal preparation.

Frequency of meals refers to when clients prefers to have meals prepared. Weekly, Biweekly, or Monthly.

No. Fairy Good Cook is NOT a weight management service. The focus will be on cooking fresh from scratch meals based on your preferences so you don't have to worry about cooking.
Meals can be left fresh in your refrigerator or in your freezer depending on when you plan on consuming them.
Meals are meant to be personalized but we can cater small intimate parties for our clients.
